Zimmerman Advertising Social Media Buyer in Fort Lauderdale, Florida

We are looking for a highly motivated individual with an acute attention to detail, highly organized, strong problem solving skills, and intermediate excel skills to join our rapidly growing Paid Social team. The Social Media Buyer works closely with Digital Media, Account Services, and Analytics teams to execute Social media campaigns from start to finish and manage and exceed client KPI’s.

Responsibilities

● Owns the paid social activation across multiple social media platforms. Including set up of the campaigns, implementation, pacing according to plans, recommending high level optimizations, executing optimizations, reporting and responding to ad hoc requests from their director/client team.

● Work with client teams and senior members of the Paid Social team to analyze and provide recommendations for optimizations to ensure optimal performance and client ROI

● Work to insure all campaign builds are QA’d prior to launching

● Extract and deliver insightful findings for client reports throughout the life of the campaign; identify optimization opportunities to implement both in real-time and long term

● QA assets from client teams (Planning and Account services) including media plans, insertion orders and creative assets.

● File all insertion orders for campaigns and work with Planning teams to ensure accuracy.

● Monitor performance of campaigns on a daily basis and alert the team of any issues regarding delivery or performance.

● Work towards understanding the client's brand and business including industry trends and seasonality.

● Proactively monitor campaign activity for delivery, ad quality and performance

● Build and evolve relationships as the primary point of contact with media partners and internal teams (Account, Audience and Analytics)

● Demonstrate basic proficiencies across key social platforms with an understanding of each of their capabilities, strengths and advantages in the social space.

● Performing simple A/B tests of creatives, audiences, copy etc. Providing analysis of results next steps and recommendations

Requirements

● Bachelor’s degree in related field

● 1+ years of performance based, e-commerce preferred, Paid Social Marketing experience across Meta (Facebook and Instagram), Snapchat, TikTok, Pinterest, Linkedin, Twitter

● Basic understanding of digital and social marketing

● Basic understanding of the digital landscape and consumer behaviors in the space

● Paid social certifications (desired)

● Analytical mindset with strategic, critical thinking skills. Strong problem solver who is able to think up creative solutions to challenges.

● Data-driven and results orientated

● Ability to demonstrate a strong work ethic, time management skills and strong organizational skills. Able to be agile and deal with ambiguity.

● Excellent communicator, able to clearly explain complex topics in a concise manner.

● Excel/Google Sheets familiarity with word and powerpoint being a plus

● Excellent attention to detail

● Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills

● Ability to work independently and as part of a team

● Self aware and able to demonstrate accountability.

● Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines
