V2X TMP Operations Supervisor in Fort Liberty, North Carolina

The TMP Operations Supervisor (TMP OPS Supervisor) is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Installation Transportation Motor Pool and Pope Field Shuttle, which provide 24/7 support for Fort Liberty, NC. The TMP Operations Supervisor will be responsible to ensure scheduling and operations meet the requirements of the applicable Performance Work Statement (PWS). The TMP Ops Supervisor is responsible for ensuring compliance with all Department of Transportation, Department of Defense, and Vectrus regulations, policies and directives as applied to vehicle and driver activities.

MAJOR JOB ACTIVITIES:

  • Acts on behalf of the Transportation Motor Pool (TMP) Supervisor in his absence.

  • Responsible for ensuring scheduling, dispatching, maintaining vehicles, movement of passengers and cargo, driver qualifications, receiving and issuing vehicles, and maintaining and providing accurate equipment records in accordance with applicable regulations and SOPs.

  • Responsible for all operational activities and data reporting of the Fort Liberty TMP shuttle program.

  • Supervises all accounting and management activities of nontactictical vehicle (NTVs) fleet assigned to the Fort Bragg TMP billing office account code (BOAC).

  • Maintains accurate dispatch, maintenance, hand receipt, and management records on all vehicles assigned to the BOAC fleet.

  • Responsible for administrative and operational functions pertaining to the safe transport of Servicemembers, DoD Civilians and baggage.

  • Responsible for processing all BOAC fleet modification packets.

  • Responsible for safe guarding of Wright Express (WEX) cards and license plates, and accurate accountability and record keeping for all BOAC fleet NTVs.

  • Interfaces with customers on transportation and maintenance activities, serves as conduit for work initiation and completion.

  • Functions as the laiason between BOAC customers and General Services Administration (GSA) on all activities pertaining to administration of the BOAC fleet.

  • Required to perform dispatcher functions on nights, weekends and/or holidays if regular scheduled employees are unavailable or during times of mission surge.

  • Recommends vehicles for transfer or replacement and inspects new vehicles upon arrival for newly authorized and/or lifecycle exchanged vehicles.

  • Responsible for accuracy of all administrative reports submitted to the U.S. Government pertaining to NTVs assigned to the BOAC fleet.

  • Responsible for accuracy of all NTVs requests submitted in the Customer Acquisition Module (CAM) cycle of the Vehicle Allocation Methology / Vehicle Utilization Review Boad (VAM/VURB) process, and ensuring customer fleet requirements are met.

  • Responsible for acquisition of state required certificates of title, and schedules registration and state inspections for all vehicles assigned to the TMP to include Deployment, Redeployment, Mobilization and Demobilization (DRMD), You Drive-it (UDI), shuttle bus and Class B fleets.

  • Coordinates inspections and schedules needed repairs or service work of the TMP NTV fleet.

  • Provides BOAC fleet information and reports, resolves issues and recommends action to improve services to customers.

  • Maintains customer interface and satisfaction with designated contract representatives.

  • Proficiently utilizes collective data systems such as Federal Automotive Statistical Tool (FAST), Defense Property Accountability System (DPAS), General Services Administrative (GSA) Fleet Drive-thru and the Fleet Management Information System (FMIS). Use and access of other information systems may be required.

  • Conducts meetings, executes plans, prepares reports, plans, and work instructions related to the daily operations of the BOAC fleet management.

  • Submits daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual reports as required to manage NTVs assigned to the BOAC fleet.

  • Analyzes and reports on metrics related to project performance.

  • Plans and directs personnel and required resources for day to day mission support.

  • Attends all operational meetings as the TMP representative, to include deployment, redeployment, mission readiness exercises and all directed tasks.

  • Attends and/or provides briefings as directed or required.

  • Job duties and responsibilities may change due to contractual requirements.

Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION & CERTIFICATIONS

  • High School Diploma.

  • Documented leadership experience supervising teams of 20+ personnel.

  • Five (5) years of documented supervisory experience in management and acquisition of fleet motor vehicles is preferred.

  • General knowledge of the logistics information policies & processes, and systems pertaining to transportation services.

  • Comprehensive knowledge of the management, acquisition, and use of motor vehicles.

  • Must have a valid State Driver’s License with no restrictions . A Commercial Drivers License (CDL) is preferred.

  • Must be able to pass the standard background check.

  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Common Access Card (CAC).

  • Must be able to provide proof of U.S. Citizenship, such as a birth certificate or a U.S. Passport.

  • Must be able to maintain driving privileges aboard the Fort Liberty Installation.

    SKILLS:

  • Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Project and Sharepoint.

  • Excellent organizational skills, ability to prioritize, perform with a high degree of accuracy and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

  • Strong written and verbal communications skills; ability to interact at all levels.

  • Ability to work independently or in a team-based, highly collaborative environment.

  • Strong problem solving skills

SUPERVISORY/BUDGET RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manages day to day operations for drivers, dispatchers and maintenance schedulers.

  • Work center is open 24/7 and may require weekend or overnight work.

  • Ordering supplies and ensuring sufficient stock is kept on hand.
