Lockheed Martin Cyber Solutions Developer in Fort Meade, Maryland

Description: Lockheed Martin is seeking a Classified Cyber Solutions Developer in the in the Fort Meade, MD area. Essential duties include leading advanced research projects in highly specialized areas of computer network operations (CNO); planning, coordinating, and executing the development of multiple projects that impact the organization’s portfolio and suite of capabilities. You will serve as a vulnerability researcher, and hardware and/or software developer providing expertise to the customer, while developing, customizing, and modifying tools. You will work on unusually complex technical problems and provide solutions that are highly innovative and ingenious. You will be expected to develop advanced technological ideas and guide their development to operational utilization, while applying advanced technical principles, techniques, theories, and concepts.

Assists military customer by applying skills and knowledge to create custom wireless capabilities, and vet and evaluate emerging tools and technologies. This position will develop a deep level of knowledge on emerging technologies, their vulnerabilities, and utilization potential in support of the customer. You will utilize software and computer language skills to develop programs that meet technical requirements.

Collaborate closely with customers to solve complex problems in computer network exploitation, reverse engineering, digital network intelligence, dataflow, computer forensics, and signals intelligence (SIGINT) development.

Works under consultative direction towards predetermined long-range goals and objectives. Assignments are often self-initiated. Determines and pursues courses of action necessary to obtain desired results. Your work is checked through consultation and agreement with others rather than by formal review of a superior. You will serve as an organizational spokesperson on advanced projects and/or programs. Act like an advisor to management and customers on advanced technical research studies and applications.

Provides support for meetings, conferences, Integrated Product Teams (IPTs), program acquisition/commodity group, working group teams, and semi-annual programmatic reviews, as applicable.

The successful candidate will be considered a senior subject matter expert in applying software engineering principles to test, evaluate, and/or modifying developed software applications for quality assurance, effectiveness, and inter-operability.

Some travel may be required, not to exceed 10% annually.

Basic qualifications (BQs) are the minimum requirements for a candidate to be considered for a position, 3 to 5 BQs are most effective.

Basic Qualifications:

14 years professional experience or 12 years with a Masters degree(software development/tool signatures/debugging)

Demonstrated detailed knowledge and experience in vulnerability research (VR), reverse engineering (RE), hardware/software development, computer networking, wireless technologies, information system configuration management, and Linux and Windows system engineering.

Assembly language(s) and one or more programming languages (C/C++/Java); specific expertise in kernel development, device driver development, network//socket programming, and embedded systems development.

Fluency in one or more scripting language (Python/Perl/Ruby/etc.).

Hardware and software reverse engineering design and tools (FPGS/VHDL/PCB/SDR); debugging tools (Ghidra/etc.).

Software vulnerability analysis and exploitation.

Extensive knowledge in intrusion detection systems, firewalls, VPN appliances, routers, switches; and expertise in the design, implementation, and execution of network and routing protocols.

TS/SCI clearance; able to pass CI polygraph.

Desired Skills:

5+ years’ experience working with/within Intelligence and Special Operations communities.

Bachelors and/or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field

Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
