Description:

Requires the regular application of acknowledged expertise in the collaboration systems engineering field and the use of considerable initiative and creativity. Responsible for providing technical leadership with strong knowledge and expertise in large-scale distributed systems and remote development, debugging, deployment, operations, and management of such systems. Must be able to identify the system requirements, contribute to the software systems architecture, synthesize a baseline design, evaluate candidate technologies, oversee prototyping efforts, and contribute to cost and schedule planning supporting the development. Provides expert explanations, techniques or approaches to colleagues, management and customers in developing and integrating collaboration tools within an organization.
