* Requires a Top Secret/SCI clearance with a polygraph and U.S. Citizenship*

Manage the organization's day-to-day advertising and marketing, media relations, creative editorial, and design services. Provide analytical support to top management on the development of communications policies and advertising programs. Advise on the management of public relations issues.

Basic Qualifications: 

  • 10+ years of experience as a DOD Public Affairs Specialist

  • Ability to pay strict attention to detail

  • TS/SCI clearance

  • HS Diploma or GED

Desired Qualifications: 

  • Ability to assist in leading efforts for the planning and implementation of comprehensive public affairs programs for the Command

  • Ability to assist in leading coordination efforts to inform the interested public, including other agencies, organizations, and Command personnel

  • Ability to write, edit, and prepare information for release to the media, specialized groups, general public, Government officials, and other Government organizations with no guidance.

  • Ability to exhibit a thorough knowledge of and apply a wide range of oral, written, social, visual communications concepts, principles, policies, practices, methods, applications, techniques, standards, and trends

  • Possession of excellent organizational skills
