Advanced Project Engineer

Advanced Project Engineer for Intermec Technologies Corporation in Fort Mill, SC

Responsibilities:

Facilitate sales support and customer care/preservation by establishing and maintaining strategic relationships with sales account representatives and their customers to provide clarity in requirements and priorities to the engineering department.

Act as a direct point of contact for work scope definition, planning, schedule development, resource alignment, progress tracking and reporting, and customer communications in ongoing support of key customers.

Work with business and sales leaders to establish regional business priorities for engineering field issues and customer support.

Act as a direct point of contact and facilitate communications between engineering and customer account teams to help with the management of day-to-day engineering activities and providing consistent communications within the organization.

Participate in design reviews on products with an eye towards ensuring testability, provide input on potential issues with designs/builds; from these, drive enhancements to test plans and processes, drive continuous improvements of testing procedures.

Creation/development, modification, and execution of software test strategies, plans, and suites.

Perform Product Engineering verification testing in accordance with approved test plans and procedures.

Act as a direct point of contact for scanning standard firmware maintenance.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:

•Location: Fort Mill, SC

•40 hours/week

•Employee Referral Fee: $1500

YOU MUST HAVE:

Qualified applicants must have a Bachelors degree or foreign equivalent in Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronic Engineering, or a related field, and 5 years of experience. Full term of experience must include: technical engineering program management in a product development environment; engineering verification and design validation including product testing and test result evaluation to determine product performance to specification. PMP certification required. Telecommuting permitted up to two (2) times per week.
