A global chemical supplier manufacturing company is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join their growing team on 1 st Shift . This is a great opportunity to work with a team that takes pride in providing cost-effective and responsive service to their clients!

Pay: $22/hr-$24/hr

Schedule: M-F 7am-3:30pm

Location: Fort Mill, SC

Essential Functions

• Perform regular preventive maintenance on machines, equipment, and plant facilities

• Experience troubleshooting, repairing and rebuilding pumps and valves (specific experience with mechanical seals, lip seals, packing, bearings, gaskets, couplings and alignment of pumps to motors).

• Experience with piping systems including flanged, threaded pipe, welding, stainless and carbon steel.

• Installing and maintaining pipe supports, installing and maintaining heat tracing (steam) and insulation.

• Utilization of chain falls, chokers, hoists, come-a-long’s and various equipment moving devices is required.

• Experience with preventative maintenance including oiling and greasing pumps and motors as well as experience with gearboxes.

• Be able to wear required PPE including but not limited to respirator, protective gloves, footwear, suits, hearing protection, head protection, eye, and face protection.

Required Education and Experience

• Associates Degree preferred.

• Experience with mechanical repairs, maintaining and rebuilding pumps, valves, pipe fitting, welding replacing seals, packing, preventative maintenance, oiling and greasing
