Job Title: Facilities Technician-Facilities and Maintenance
REQUIREMENTS:
High school diploma or Experience in Facility and Grounds maintenance and supervision. Experience in electrical, HVAC, construction, plumbing, chemical, grounds maintenance and all related facility and grounds fields. Must be computer literate, with a reasonable degree of efficiency in typing, working knowledge of office procedures and operation of office equipment and machines. Supervisory experience to include problem solving assistance, scheduling and assigning work, and training. Excellent communication
Salary Range $67,860.00 - $79,360.00 / Per Year
DAYS/HRS: Full-Time Permanent Daytime Hrs.
DESCRIPTION:
The Foreman is responsible for assisting the Director. This job intales over seeing day to day maintenance operations for buildings and grounds . Oversee the maintenance of building machanical equipment, i.e. ( HVAC equipment, boiler equipment, kitchen equipment, ect.) Oversee the maintenace of the grounds and irrigation throughout the district. Involved in monitoring and failitating new and remodle construction projects. Provides oversight and direction to building custodial staff process and procedures.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/RESPONSIBILITIES: Manages all aspects of facilities and grounds developing an effective and efficient preventative maintenance plan. Monitors and manages the improvement, upgrade, and replacement of building systems. Monitors and manages all capital construction projects throughout the district. Recruits and recommend for employment Facilities personnel; supervises and evaluates staff. Develop, implement, and monitor safe, efficient, and cost-effective facilities and grounds management based on changing needs. Evaluate and assist with the resolution of all day-to-day problems, questions, and complaints regarding facilities and grounds. Develop and monitor department Keeps informed and monitors compliance with all laws and regulations concerning school district facility compliance. Controls and guides acquisition of replacement parts and facility Anticipate future needs and develop specifications for vehicle and equipment Develop orientation and training for Performs other related duties as assigned
