Job Title: Multifamily Project Manager

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Multifamily Project Manager to join our team in Naples, FL. This role involves managing multiple projects, reading and interpreting documents and contracts, writing and negotiating subcontracts, and maintaining project schedules. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in multifamily construction and possess excellent leadership and communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Read and interpret documents and contracts

  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously

  • Write, negotiate, and award subcontracts

  • Review and prepare subcontractor scopes of work

  • Develop and maintain project schedules using Microsoft Project

  • Attend meetings and prepare minutes

  • Assist in the estimating process

  • Review and prepare change orders

  • Develop and track submittals, RFIs, and cost reports

  • Maintain owner relations

  • Resolve issues with win-win solutions and collaboration

  • Lead by example with honesty, integrity, and good judgment

  • Travel as needed for projects

Essential Skills

  • Minimum of five (5) years’ experience managing multifamily projects valued at $20M and higher

  • Experience with ground-up construction, multifamily projects, and student housing

  • Experience in concrete and block & plank construction

  • Knowledge of the Florida construction market preferred

  • Computer proficiency in Microsoft Project and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)

  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Ability to direct complex projects from concept to fully operational status

  • Highly organized, motivated, and detail-oriented problem solver

  • Advanced knowledge of the design-build construction process including preconstruction, major system evaluations, estimating, scheduling, cost control, and design

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • College degree in construction/engineering field preferred but not required

  • Proven track record of successfully leading multifamily or wood-framed projects

  • Marketing and presentation skills

  • Strong local relationships with subcontractors, consultants, clients, and municipalities (preferred)

  • Bilingual is a plus

Work Environment

The work environment includes managing 3-4 story apartment projects in Naples, FL. Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $115000.00 - $145000.00
