Description

Summary:

The Inside Sales position is responsible for maintaining current customer satisfaction with service and sales, and generate new sales/business through sales initiatives and goals. They provide professional services with product knowledge, problem solving, and order enhancement.

Examples of job duties could include;

  • Crossing competitive material on a bill of material

  • Identifying gaps in a material list for items that are missing or complementary add-ons

  • Value-add for sales by offering alternatives, expedites, and understanding use cases

  • Understand customer needs and anticipate challenges

  • Study the latest technologies and advising your customers of their uses and applications

  • Pricing and negotiating with vendors or customers for different manufacturers

  • Quoting an opportunity and project managing timely delivery of the materials, software, or training

Reports to: Profit Center Manager

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical or business discipline, preferred

  • OR equivalent years’ experience with Eclipse business software

  • Two years’ industry specific experience, preferred

Working Conditions:

This job operates in a professional office environment and various warehouse locations and conditions. This role routinely uses standard office equipment.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; talk or hear. The employee must occasionally lift or move office products and supplies, up to 20 pounds.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Provides outstanding customer service to all current and potential customers, mainly via telephone and internet

  • Writes orders with accuracy and in accordance to all sales policies and procedures

  • Maintain current customer base

  • Meet established monthly sales goals

  • Communicates and cooperates with outside sales force and/or other departments for all Frost pertinent activities

  • Communicate process improvement ideas

  • Timely follow-up on all customer orders, quotes, and materials

  • Maintains up-to-date awareness with new and existing products and services

Compensation Range:

The compensation range for this position is $21 to $24 hourly.
