A growing financial services corporation is adding a Senior Legal Counsel to their legal department. In this role you will draft, review and negotiate a range of agreements; assist with M&A work; and advise internal business departments to advance organizational goals. This is not a litigation role. Position requires: (a) 3-10 years of practice experience, including time at a large law firm; (b) transactional experience, including contracts and M&A; (c) an active license to practice law in PA. Position is onsite 4 days/week in Fort Washington. Company values work-life balance. Core hours with some flexibility. Compensation includes a base salary of $200-225K, annual bonus, deferred compensation plan and excellent benefits.

Responsibilities

-Cooperate across business units and departments to achieve optimal results while minimizing risk.

-Draft, review and negotiate a wide variety of commercial agreements including licensing agreements, consulting agreements, purchase agreements, NDAs, financing agreements and servicing agreements.

-Collaborate with contract services, sales, marketing, finance, information technology and other departments to drive business.

-Collaborate with colleagues and advise on various legal, regulatory, corporate, privacy and contractual matters.
