Honeywell Sr EMC/RF Certification Engineer – Signal Integrity in Fort Washington, Pennsylvania

As the Sr EMC/RF Certification Engineer, you will serve as both a technical leader and an active participant, combining strategic oversight with hands-on technical work, particularly in the area of testing. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that our Industrial Control, Safety, and Wireless products comply with all relevant EMI/EMC standards. As a senior member of the certification team, you will evaluate RF Signal Integrity designs, conduct RF and EMI/EMC testing, develop design guidelines, and provide ongoing design support across a diverse range of products and technologies within Honeywell Process Solutions.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

•Actively contribute as an EMC/RF engineer, working hands-on across diverse engineering disciplines in support of multiple Industrial Control Systems programs.

•Oversee and directly engage in RF Signal Integrity activities across all phases of program development.

•Develop and write test procedures, test plans, and test reports.

•Possess in-depth knowledge of international commercial and industrial EMC standards.

•Setup and operate EMI/EMC testing equipment, including spectrum analyzers, oscilloscopes, conducted emission measurement systems, and radiated emission measurement systems.

•Independently perform EMC/EMI testing of industrial control products, documenting, analyzing, and interpreting results.

•Present at design reviews to internal and external customers regarding EMC/EMI standards and compliance.

•Write design guidelines and perform analyses on components, subsystems, and systems using EMI/EMC principles.

•Provide hands-on design guidance on ground systems, shielding, EMI filters, and circuit layout for EMI/EMC compliance.

•Maintain knowledge of wireless compliance and standards for international commercial and industrial compliance.

YOU MUST HAVE:

•Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as the sciences, technology, engineering, or mathematics.

•5+ years of RF/EMI/EMC compliance work experience.

•5+ years of experience with electrical circuit analysis or basic circuit theory.

•5+ years of experience testing for radiated and conducted emissions, radiated and conducted immunity.

WE VALUE:

•5+ years of experience with failure analysis and troubleshooting of Equipment Under Test.

•Strong analytical skills while handling multiple projects and delivering results on time using well-developed logical problem-solving skills.

•Good verbal and written communication skills in English.

•Ability to communicate with all disciplines at all levels: project team, certification bodies, and factory.

•Capability to work effectively under minimum supervision.

•Ability to operate in a fast-paced organization and handle multiple projects simultaneously.

•Focus on processes and quality, with an eye for detail.

•Willingness to work with and learn from other certification engineers.
