The incumbent is expected | | | to exercise good judgment, | | | independence, initiative, and | | | professional expertise in | | | conducting day-to-day operations. | | | All work duties and activities | | | must be performed in accordance | | | with the City safety rules and | | | operating regulations, policies | | | and procedures as well as | | | federal, state, and local | | | regulations. | | | | | | ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND | | | RESPONSIBILITIESinclude the | | | ability to interact with the | | | public, City incumbents, and | | | outside agencies with patience, | | | tact, respect, and | | | professionalism and the | | | following. Other duties may be | | | assigned. | | | | | | - Schedules and supervises | | | staff; | | | - Coordinates Learn to Swim | | | program as assigned; | | | - Prepares daily reports and | | | attenda ce records; | | | - Deposits money in bank; | | | - Schedules and supervises all | | | programs; | | | - Enforces safety rules and | | | regulations; | | | - Assigns staff duties; | | | - Maintains equipment and | | | supply inventory; | | | - Meets all Board of Health | | | Standards; | | | - Monitors/Adds chemicals; | | | - Backwashes pool; | | | - Clears and secures pool at | | | closing; | | | - Opens pool; | | | - Vacuums pool. | | | | | | MARGINAL FUNCTIONS | | | | | | - Assists with staff training | | | as needed; | | | - Assists Aquatic Supervisors | | | as needed; | | | - Assists with Learn to Swim | | | lessons as needed; | | | - Performs other duties as | | | required. | | | | | | PERFORMANCE EXPECTATIONS | | | | | | The incumbent is responsible to | | | manage their performance in | | | accordance with this job | | | description and the performance | | | expectations provided to them by | | | management.
