Job Description

Join our dynamic team at our Columbia City, Indiana location, serving as a Defense Contractor for the United States Navy. In this role as an assembler, you will be instrumental in manufacturing Sonobuoys - small buoys deployed from military aircraft into oceans to detect enemy ships, aircraft, and submarines. Your key responsibilities will include assembling the buoy systems using small hand/power tools, reading work orders, and print documents. Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Columbia City, Indiana.

Work Environment

Our Columbia City, Indiana location offers a temperature-controlled and exceptionally clean plant floor, recognized as one of the nicest in the area. Our work week runs from Monday to Thursday, with shift hours from 5:30am - 4:00pm. There may be a possibility of working on Fridays. We provide two 10-minute paid breaks and a 30-minute unpaid lunch break. The remuneration for this position is $19.20 per hour. This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a term of 3 months, with full-time on-site work.
