ROLE
As a Laboratory Technician at Knight Testing, your primary responsibility is to meticulously set up and execute static strength and dynamic fatigue mechanical tests on a variety of medical device components and assemblies. This pivotal role involves ensuring the accuracy and reliability of testing procedures, adhering to established protocols and safety guidelines. You will work closely with our team of engineers and technicians to maintain meticulous records of test results, contributing to the overall quality assurance process.
Responsibilities
Set up and conduct mechanical tests on various components and assemblies
Build test assemblies
Document and communicate test results to responsible test engineer
Monitor tests to ensure accurate and timely results
Perform routine maintenance of lab and support equipment
Qualifications
Qualifications:
Highschool Diploma required , Relevant Postsecondary certificate or Associates degree preferred.
2+ years of hands on experience in a R&D or Quality testing environment
Strong mechanical aptitude and hand tool proficiency
Strong computing skills
Servo-hydraulic load frame experience preferred
Medical device experience preferred.
Experience using MTS test control software preferred
Experience working within an ISO quality management system preferred
