This position is to fill a Control Account Manager (CAM) role for the functional Weapons New Business Team. The ideal candidate will serve as both a CAM and an EV subject matter expert to assist in training a team of 7-8 CAMs that manage scope and proposal estimate activities for the functional Weapons Integration team, inclusive of F-35, F-16, F-22, and ADP.

Responsibilities include:

• Responsible for fostering collaboration internally and cross-functionally between Engineering, Subcontract-Management, Business Management, and Program Office

• Monitoring and managing weapons team technical and schedule performance; ensuring integration with overall program cost, schedule, and performance

• Performing monthly analysis of program Earned Value Management System (EVMS) data and providing insight to management

• Engaging in team training and mentoring new team members

Fort Worth, TX

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor or higher degree in technical engineering discipline

• Previous program management, project management, project engineering, or project lead experience

• Experience training team members

• Experience generating task statements and rationale to support proposal efforts (Basis of Estimate Development)

• Minimum 3 years experience as a Control Account Manager (CAM)

• Demonstrated knowledge of earned value management, and is accustomed to using LM Aero EV tools to manage programs

Desired Skills:

• Demonstrated knowledge of the contracting life-cycle processes from proposal (RFP, BOEs, negotiation) through delivery and DD250.

• Ability to drive issues to resolution, which may involve direct interaction with Senior leadership within LM and the customer organizations.

• Fast learner and willing to operate in a fast-paced environment that may periodically include short-turn-around assignments and willingness to attack issues that are outside of the individual's training or background.

• Knowledge of requirements management and systems engineering

• Strong communication skills, with a willingness to engage with technical and non-technical subject matter experts with all levels of organization.

Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
