Lockheed Martin Aeronautics in Fort Worth, Texas has an opportunity for a Systems Engineer supporting the F-35 JSF ALIS/ODIN program.

What You Will Be Doing

As a new hire on our Systems Engineering team, you can help us take on the world’s most important and complex challenges by providing solutions to a variety of technical problems of moderate scope and complexity. In this important role, you will collaborate with a diverse team of technical professionals and interact with outside customers. This position is for an experienced engineer in systems engineering. The team that this position is on provides support across the entire product line including new and existing programs. The candidate is part of a fast paced, dynamic environment exploring state of the art technical solutions that includes Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE). To support development and definition; related tasking is anticipated to include:

1. performing Model-Based Systems Engineer (MBSE) design

2. performing risk assessments,

3. leading trade studies,

4. management of interfaces,

5. performing technical planning,

6. performing requirements verification and involvement in systems architecture development.

7. Therefore, broad knowledge and expertise in systems engineering is needed.

8. Additionally, the candidate needs to be experienced in providing support in systems/subsystem integration and test while working closely with program management to assure complete program integrity.

Who You Are

The successful candidate has experience across the spectrum of systems engineering activities. The primary focus in this position is requirements management relating to Maintenance System (MxS) and Vehicle Systems (VS) content. The successful candidate is flexible, motivated, dedicated, detail-focused, team-oriented, and capable of multi-tasking. The candidate will need to already possess a Secret Security Clearance with ability to obtain SAR. In this environment, the candidate needs to be an agile dedicated learner to enable rapid transition to the latest toolsets and adaptation of digital/model-based execution.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in an engineering/technical discipline from an accredited college with 9 years of professional experience; or 7 years of professional experience with a related Masters degree.

• Experience collaborating with internal/external customer executing technical plans / roadmaps / analysis of requirements

• Experience working in a heavy collaboration environment

• Experience in developing

•Experience applying SysML to Systems Engineering efforts

•Experience developing model-based Systems Engineering (MBSE) models that include development of Use Cases, activity diagrams, and sequence diagrams.

Desired Skills:

• Experience with DEVSECOPS

Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Clearance Level: Secret with Investigation or CV date within 5 years

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
