Bavarian Inn Restaurant Talent Acquisition Specialist in FRANKENMUTH, Michigan

Join Our Human Resources Team as a Talent Acquisition Specialist!

Position: Full-Time Talent Acquisition Specialist Compensation: $18 per hour (Plus $1 more per hour on weekends and holidays) Benefits: Comprehensive benefits package, up to $10,000 in tuition reimbursement, up to $1,000 referral bonuses, flexible scheduling, free meals during shifts, and many other team member perks!

Schedule: 9am-5pm, Monday-Friday (Two Saturday shifts per month required)

Position Summary:

As Bavarian Inn Restaurant continues to grow, we are seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Employment Specialist to join our Human Resources team. Our organization is hospitality-driven, focusing on creating enjoyable experiences for both our external and internal guests.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Talent Acquisition: Develop and implement recruitment strategies, post open positions, review applicants, conduct interviews, and manage the hiring process.
  • HR Reporting: Create and distribute reports on applicant flow, new hire retention, exit interviews, and team member surveys.
  • Team Member Records Management: Collect and enter applicant and new hire information into HR systems and maintain employee files.
  • Documentation Processing: Handle paperwork related to recruitment, retention, training, performance evaluations, and employment changes.
  • *Team Member Assistance: *Address HR-related inquiries with professionalism and courtesy.
  • Policy Compliance: Stay updated on company and legal policies and ensure compliance.
  • Employment Verifications: Process employment verification requests.
  • Onboarding Support: Develop and maintain onboarding and orientation materials for new hires.
  • *External Representation: *Represent Bavarian Inn at career fairs, networking events, and other external functions.
  • Daily Operations Support: Assist with daily HR functions and other tasks as assigned.

Knowledge & Experience:

  • Guest Service: Experience in delivering excellent guest service.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) for producing reports and presentations.
  • *Legal Knowledge: *Basic understanding of employment and labor laws.
  • *Organizational Skills: *Strong ability to organize and manage multiple tasks.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Confidentiality: Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism.
  • *Recruitment Experience: *Preferred experience in recruiting, interviewing, or related roles.
  • *Independent Work: *Ability to work independently and manage self-directed tasks.
