UL, LLC Senior Manager, Training Delivery - EMEA in Frankfurt, Germany

Leads the regional learning & development team including implementation of global and regional learning strategy, program design and delivery, setting training standards, and measurement of program effectiveness. Collaborates with relevant stakeholders to gain knowledge of the global and regional business strategy and learning needs to develop and deliver relevant training programs.

  • Executes on the global learning and development strategy that drives consistency and standardization while accounting for regional and local needs.

  • Responsible for developing and maintaining learning processes and ensures mechanisms are in place to build accountability to ensure standards are met.

  • Demonstrate leadership to align and execute strategic priorities in a timely, collaborative, and effective manner.

  • Use data to measure success: analyze trends and develop proactive actions to continuously improve the design, development, implementation and evaluation of learning and development programs.

  • Drive a solid in-house trainer management process to develop and deliver effective learning and services to diverse cultures and international locations.

  • Bring thought leadership and shape new thinking for innovative, cutting edge, learning and course development, including course branding, delivery, storage, and maintenance of all learning assets.

  • Employ advanced holistic learning solutions that will address cross functional learning needs and gaps that may be shared across functions and roles.

  • Stay current with industry trends and best practices in learning and development to ensure programs are current and effective.

  • Provides other duties as directed.

  • Identify regional learning and development needs leveraging data driven decision making.

  • Develop innovative and relevant training programs that support the business and talent strategy with demonstrable ROI.

  • Continuously drive the training effectiveness and adjust programs based on the learning objectives and program evaluation.

  • Build a strong internal and external professional network and maintain relationships with external training vendors and other relevant institutions.

  • Drive global and/or regional learning and development projects, including associated communications and change management.

  • Manage regional learning and development teams and provide ongoing coaching and support

  • Bring thought leadership and shape new thinking for innovative, cutting edge, learning and course development, including course branding, delivery, storage, and maintenance of all learning assets.

  • Employ advanced holistic learning solutions that will address cross functional learning needs and gaps that may be shared across functions and role

  • Stay current with industry trends and best practices in learning and development to ensure programs are current and effective.

  • University degree (Equivalent to a Bachelor’s degree) in Human Resources Administration, Training, Education, Organizational Development, Instructional Design, or a related field.

  • 10+ years professional level experience. Experience working in a multi-national company preferred.

  • Detailed knowledge of training, organization development and learning practices. Excellent facilitation skills, especially in leadership training.

  • Critical, strategic solutionist skilled at developing and launching, cost effective, repeatable, and timely learning solutions for the purpose of driving continuous improvement. This can be solutions in digital, technology, operational efficiencies through automation, etc.

  • Experience in managing, leading and coaching individuals and teams including global and diverse cultures.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with people across different cultures, levels and organizations.

  • Ability to adapt and act as a change agent and role models change efforts.

  • Demonstrated ability to assess needs, administer programs, and manage complex projects to completion.

  • Strong ability to connect multiple inputs to assess needs and opportunities; think holistic, and be a creative problem solver.

  • Strong proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint. Learning Management Systems and digital tools preferred.

  • Proficient in both spoken and written English.

  • Must be willing to work in a hybrid-model (combination of weekly in and out office)
