Extrusion Production Manager (Franklin, KY): Mng extrusion dept; Provide technical expertise in mfg technical & hygiene films; Structured spread of work resources based on Qualification Matrix; Continuous Training/Culture change of dept members leading to measured Waste-Reduction; est Global Best Practices btw sites overseas; Transparency of financial impacts on waste rates and machine downtime; Ongoing tracking of waste-reasons and countermeasures showing continuous control and impvmt. REQ: 3 years of college-level education in Industrial Engineering; Prior exp must incl. 6 years’ exp w/blown film extrusion; w/Inline-embossing-processes; w/blown-film-brands Windmöller & Hölscher and Reifenhauser; w/lean manufacturing principles; w/operating machine equipment; w/quality control specific for film properties; w/working with R&D qualifying new products; & 2 years’ training as technician in Plastic Engineering and Fiber Composite Technology.
