Production Planner is responsible for the accuracy and timeliness of the production process.
- Develop, modify, and manage schedules of the production process.
- Evaluate auto-generated planned orders and create suitable production orders and schedules.
- Estimate the amount of materials, equipment, and labor required for production.
- Promptly address and resolve production issues to minimize delays in production.
- Coordinate production operations in accordance with material, labor, and equipment availability.
- Recommend valuable solutions to reduce production costs as well as improve production process and product quality.
- Effect changes to production schedules to ensure that production deadlines are met.
- Prepare status and performance reports and submit them to management in a timely manner.
- Promptly inform the relevant departments of changes to current production schedules.
- Monitor inventory level and provide production status updates to management.
- Monitor production process to ensure the production orders are completed on time and within budget.
- Facilitate timely delivery of products to customers.
- Focus on the materials and goods required in the production phase.
