FirstService Residential Resident Services Coordinator in Fredericksburg, Virginia

Job Overview:Â Â

As a Resident Services Coordinator,you’llbe responsible forassistingwith the management and administration of theday-to-dayoperations of the Community Association business. Handle customer service functions. Maintain communication with Board of Trustees and homeowners. Serves as the primary source of contact for residents and homeowners on association matters.ÂÂÂ

This is a part-time position and the schedule is Tuesday, Wednesday, & Thursday 9am - 3pm.Â

Your Responsibilities:Â Â

  • Regular attendance and punctuality are essential functions for the roleÂÂ
  • Assure that the policies,resolutionsand other acts of the Board are carried outÂÂÂ
  • Be knowledgeable of all Association Governing Documents, Rules and Regulations and general legal requirements of a community associationÂÂÂ
  • Provide excellent customer service andmaintainopen lines of communication with fellow Associates,homeownersand Board of TrusteesÂÂÂ
  • Have general knowledge and understanding of building systems and componentsÂÂÂ
  • Follow all policies and procedures of the CompanyÂÂÂ
  • Work closely with Management to learn all responsibilities of site operationsÂÂÂ
  • Such other duties and responsibilities as mayreasonably bedirected andrequiredÂÂÂ
  • Log work requests in Connect and generate work orders for maintenance staff and/or contractorsÂÂÂ
  • Update work order log with notes and action taken by vendors.ÂÂÂ
  • Close open work orders in system when complete by vendor. Work order is not considered complete unless the vendor has signed original work order and returned to office.ÂÂÂ
  • Provide Community Manager with work order log for inclusion in Board package.ÂÂÂ

Skills & Qualifications:Â Â

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experienceÂ

  • Critical thinking, problem solving, judgement and decision-making abilities are necessary.ÂÂ

  • Proficiencyin computer programs like Microsoft Office, Outlook and Windowsrequired.ÂÂ
  • Ability to work with sensitive and/or confidential information.ÂÂ
