Position Summary

Hours for this position: 11:00 pm- 7:00 am Eastern, Sunday - Friday.As a Sr Transportation Support member, you will be crossed trained in several job functions within the Transportation Department. Requires a self-motivated, dependable individual able to perform job duties with little or no supervision. This individual will be required to work with confidential information and requires someone who will maintain this information with the strictest confidentiality. Maintain Driver logs and generating reports related to logs. You will also be responsible for building the daily matrix for the Fredericksburg Distribution Center.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS may include:∙ Backup router∙ Dispatch coverage overnight∙ Keying of orders into our satellite DC’s.∙ Maintaining Driver logs and generating reports related to logs.∙ Daily generating and distributing reports.∙ Share responsibility of daily Driver assignments.∙ Receive, communicate, and respond to telephone calls and /or messages to resolve problems and issues regarding the delivery schedule.∙ Receive calls from the store field.∙ Filing of driver and equipment paperwork.∙ Perform other duties as requested by supervisor/management.

Required Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience working as a Dispatcher- Experience with DOT / FMCSA / OSHA regulations- 1+ years of experience in Microsoft Excel to include spreadsheet layouts, creating graphs, importing, and exporting data.- 1+ years of experience in Microsoft Word to include generating memos and other documentation.- Experience with customer service skills such as telephone skills; ability to greet and professionally represent this organization to visitors, CVS departments/stores, and the CVS Corporate Office.

Preferred Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience working as a Dispatcher- Experience with the Warehouse Management Systems- Experience with Omnitracs Routing and Dispatching software- Experience with inbound freight scheduling/backhaul coordination- Experience with training and driver route bidding process

Education High School diploma or equivalent required.Bachelor's Degree in Business or Supply Chain Management preferred

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$18.50 - $38.82

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
