Insight Global Computer Vision Engineer in Fremont, California
Job Description
Education/Experience:
Master of Science in Computer Engineering or other related fields
Minimum 2-3 years of experience in building systems/algorithms in one of the following domains: computer vision, deep learning, pattern recognition or machine learning
Experience with real-time sensor fusion (e.g., IMU, camera, LiDAR, etc.)
Familiarity with dependencies between performance of vision algorithms and image processing
Required Skills:
Deep understanding of traditional computer vision methodologies
Camera calibration and synchronization
Knowledge of camera sensors, optics, imaging pipeline and real-time algorithm development
Proficiency in C and ROS is a must. C++ and Python preferred
Experience with the simulation and the field tests of aerial vehicles, specifically drones
PR: $60 - $65/hour

The Computer Vision Engineer (Contractor) will be responsible for the integration of computer vision algorithms on Supernal platform.
Responsibilities and Duties
Deploy the existing computer vision pipeline on Supernal's platform
Help execute a multi-year research agenda
Define metrics for system validation and verification computer vision algorithm
Perform outdoor and indoor UAV testing null
