NBC Universal Part-Time Content Producer, Telemundo T51 Fresno in Fresno, California

KNSO Telemundo in Fresno is looking for a part-time Content Producer who will work closely with producers, assignment desk editors, anchors and reporters to produce news content.  

  • Select stories, understand all the elements, and design a newscast that achieves the daily goal

  • Conceptualize, write, and video edit stories in different formats (VO, VO/SOT & PKG)

  • Contribute story ideas, participate in daily coverage decisions and editorial meetings

  • Ensure accuracy and correct spelling in graphics and banners

  • Coordinate script and storyline with correct video sources and graphics

  • Respond to breaking news with urgency and accuracy

  • Write news scripts, promotion teasers and headlines 

  • Must be able to produce under heavy deadline pressure without compromising credibility

  • Execute Live Shots and Satellite Remotes during live newscasts

  • Understand and follow all Telemundo News standards and ethics

     

  • Must be able to speak, read and write fluently in Spanish and must be able to speak, read and understand English

  • Minimum 2 years of producer experience or writing/editing

Hybrid: This position has been designated as hybrid, generally contributing from the office a minimum of three days per week.
