Description We are in search of a Payroll Specialist to join our team in Fresno, California. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the payroll process using various accounting software systems, ensuring accurate and timely payment to all employees. This role is a short-term contract position within the financial services industry.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately process payroll using Accounting Software Systems, ADP - Financial Services, Ceridian, IBM AS/400, and Kronos Timekeeping System

• Handle 401k - RRSP Administration and other related accounting functions

• Ensure accuracy in Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Efficiently manage time and tasks using the 'About Time' software

• Resolve any payroll-related inquiries and issues promptly and professionally

• Maintain up-to-date and accurate records of payroll transactions

• Ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations related to payroll processing

• Collaborate with HR and Finance departments to ensure smooth payroll operations

• Continually enhance knowledge and skills related to payroll systems and processes

• Participate in audits and reconciliations as needed. Requirements • Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems

• Experience with ADP - Financial Services

• Familiarity with Ceridian

• Experience with IBM AS/400

• Proficiency in Kronos Timekeeping System

• Knowledge of 401k - RRSP Administration

• Experience with About Time

• Familiarity with Accounting Functions

• Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP)

• Experience with Accounts Receivable (AR)
