Omni Hotels Loss Prevention (Security) Supervisor in Frisco, Texas

Located 30 miles north of downtown Dallas, Omni PGA Frisco Resort is the largest resort currently in development in the country. Opening spring 2023, the resort will feature 500 guest rooms and suites, 10 four-bedroom ranch houses, three pools, including an adults-only rooftop infinity pool, a destination spa, Lounge by Top Golf, and over 127,000-square feet of indoor and outdoor meeting and event space. An expansive retail and entertainment district will feature dining, shopping and an outdoor stage set to be activated for concerts and outdoor programming. The Resort will become a leading destination for golf providing an unparalleled experience for those who are advanced players, new to the game, and everything in between. The resort will offer 46 holes of golf designed by Beau Welling and Gil Hanse, including two 18-hole championship golf courses, a lighted 10-hole short course, and a lighted two-acre putting green.

Job Description

Omni PGA Frisco Resortis seeking an experiencedLoss Prevention (Security) Supervisorto join our team. Omni Frisco PGA Resort provides north Texas with 127,000 square feet of event space, 13 new food and beverage outlets, an extravagant spa and a full entertainment district. Featuring two championship 18-hole golf courses along with a third short course, we will provide incredible options for our guests and local community for dining, events, and entertainment.

This team member is dedicated to providing quality service that exceeds Guest expectations. The Loss Prevention Supervisor works to create guests for life, by proactively embracing service standards, adhering to safety regulations and gaining the knowledge to assist guests with any and all needs.

Responsibilities

  • Perform property patrols observing, reporting, and correcting safety and security deficiencies.

  • Respond to all emergency calls, following established emergency procedures.

  • Respond to complaints and requests for assistance in accordance with departmental and corporate policies and procedures. Provide assistance as necessary and support with outside agencies to ensure that assistance is received.

  • Provide factual, thorough, and professional reports through written documentation of all incidents, events and actions taken during the course of a shift.

  • Maintain integrity and continuity of lost and found articles as well as securing and releasing of found property in accordance with hotel policy and legal requirements.

  • Maintain confidentiality regarding any information or action required in the course of duties in accordance with corporate and legal requirements.

  • Perform initial investigations and follow-up to complaints, accidents and incidents.

  • Support Director of Loss Prevention to develop, implement and manage safety and loss control programs & initiatives.

  • Maintains complete knowledge of and compliance with departmental and resort policies/procedures.

  • Monitor initial investigations and follow-up to guest/employee complaints, accidents and incidents, entering information from these incidents into database as needed .

  • Provide and assist with all officer and resort wide safety/Loss Prevention training.

  • Creates and ensures daily completion of staff checklists and necessary reports.

  • Motivates staff and creates cohesive team.

  • Provide guest and owners with accurate information; be knowledgeable of all aspects within the hotel and surrounding area.

  • Monitor adherence to standard operating procedures.

  • Clean and maintain a hygienic and organized work area.

  • Administrative functions as related to the normal course of duties, i.e.: filing, report distribution photocopying, faxing, etc. as needed.

  • Filing information related to incidents/accidents.

  • Supervise employee locker audits.

  • Monitor and follow up on footage from Loss Prevention cameras.

Qualifications

  • Must be able to stand and walk for up to 7 hours per shift.

  • Must have at least 1 year of Loss Prevention experience.

  • Must be able to communicate effectively by telephone, email, radio and reporting.

  • Must have basic computer knowledge.

  • Must have a valid driver’s license and meet minimum requirements of Motor Vehicle Records.

  • Must be able to reach various areas of the hotel/resort at a rapid pace if necessary.

  • First Aid/CPR Certification is preferred.

  • Must be able to remain calm and professional during stressful situations.

  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule including day, evening, overnight shifts, weekends and holidays
