Salary: £24,045 per annum
Location: Alder Vets, Guildford
Job Type: Permanent, full-time
Hours: Monday: 11am - 7.30pm; Tuesday: 8am - 4.30pm; Wednesday: 11am - 7.30pm; Thursday: 8am - 4.30pm; Friday shifts will vary, to discuss at interview.; 1:5 Saturdays: 8am - 4.30pm; 30-minute break.
Alder Veterinary Practice are looking for a full-time Receptionist to join our friendly team.
You will be first point of contact with clients face to face, on the telephone and by email demonstrating a professional and knowledgeable impression and be confident working sometimes under high pressure. The successful candidate will have great communication, numeracy and problem-solving skills. You will need to have empathy and a good sense of humour. Previous experience of reception work within a similar environment would be advantageous.
Duties to include, but not limited to;
Booking, cancelling and rearranging appointments, Liaising with team members to ensure the efficient diary management.
Taking and recording payments.
Completing and balancing end of day reconciliation.
Receiving insurance claim forms ensuring they are completed correctly and passing them on to the insurance team.
Ensuring that the reception area and consult rooms are keep clean and tidy.
Supporting clients during emotional situations.
Communicating with clients if appointments are running late or if there are any diary changes.
