A global leading packaging solutions manufacturer near Saratoga Springs, New York is seeking an Electrical Maintenance Technician to join their team. This well-established company has over 20 manufacturing facilities with 3,000+ employees worldwide. This position will perform electrical and mechanical maintenance on various types of industrial manufacturing equipment.

The hourly rate is commensurate with experience up to $32/hr plus excellent health & retirement benefits.

location: Gansevoort, New York

responsibilities:

• Perform reactionary maintenance (i.e., repair machines, equipment, etc., when required, as such goes down).

• Preventive maintenance - can carry out tasks and responsibilities associated with maintenance of equipment, building and grounds, etc.

• Plan and carry out tasks and responsibilities associated with special projects on existing or new equipment or facilities.

• Ability to learn how to troubleshoot and repair electrical/electronic systems and control circuits.

• Ability to solve mechanical problems; repairing and replacing faulty components or parts, installing new machines and equipment, performing Preventive Maintenance on equipment.
