Description
A client of ours in Commercial Roofing is looking to hire a Service Coordinator. This is a direct hire position in Garland TX, fully on-site 40 hours/week.
Our client is preferably looking for someone with prior roofing or construction industry experience.
Here is an overview of job responsibilities for our service coordinator position:
Take inbound calls and emails for service/repair requests. Ask qualifying questions and create a service ticket for service and repair team.
Work with service manager to schedule repairs and keep customer informed about response time.
Issue purchase orders to service team for materials needed to complete repairs.
Create weekly time sheets for service crew of 6-8 members.
Take service reports created by service manager to create a detailed invoice. Forward invoice and report to customer.
Follow up with service customers for any delinquent AR.
Maintain/grow relationships with property managers and owners.
Spanish speaking a plus, but not required.
Requirements
This job requires friendly and professional verbal and written communication skills. Construction industry experience is a plus. Strong organizational skills/time management skills are critical as there is quite a bit of autonomy with this position.

• Understanding of Budget Processes
• Proficiency in Calendar Management
• Excellent Communication skills
• Knowledge of Sage 100 software
• Experience in Commercial Roofing
• Familiarity with the Construction Industry
• Prior Construction Industry Experience
• Experience in Coordinating Appointments
• Strong Customer Service skills
• Experience in managing Employee Timesheets
• Proficiency in handling Customer Invoices
• Experience in managing Purchase Orders
