Job Title: Controls Technician

Job Description

Join our team as a Controls Technician and play a pivotal role in maintaining the reliability of making and packing lines in a facility that manufactures laundry detergents, laundry aids, and fabric softeners. This role focuses on technical troubleshooting and implementing improvements across various automated systems. The position offers a direct placement with a competitive hourly rate and a consistent night shift schedule.

Hard Skills

• PLC knowledge for troubleshooting

• Experience with PLC/HMI, RS Studio 5000 / ControlLogix, FactoryTalk ME/PanelView, FactoryTalk SE, Wonderware Intouch, Wonderware ArchestrA System Platform, Inductive Automation Ignition

• Experience in control systems design (I/O and Motor lists, P&IDs)

• Minimum 3 years maintenance technician experience

• Minimum 2 years PLC troubleshooting experience

Soft Skills

• Technical troubleshooting skills

• Ability to work collaboratively with engineers

• Competence in project execution

Job Type

This is a permanent position.

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in GARLAND, Texas.

Work Environment

The role is based in a very clean, organized, and climate-controlled FDA regulated plant with brand new equipment. The facility is highly automated, including robotics.
