Position Summary:

As a Warehouse Supervisor for A. Duie Pyle, you will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations on assigned shift while enforcing all safety policies & practices, ensuring training and development of new and existing Pyle employees, and providing a safe and productive work environment.

The responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to:

  • Overseeing warehouse productivity on assigned shift

  • Ensuring the staff on the assigned shift is meeting service level objectives

  • Managing risk; supervising and enforcing safety policies and best practices

  • Coordinating and ensuring the training of Warehouse associates, including forklift certification(s)

  • Developing staff by setting clear expectations, providing feedback, teaching and coaching

  • Documenting performance-related activity in the warehouse; developing a plan of action to correct negative situations

  • Working with Warehouse Leadership and HR to ensure adherence to Company Policies

  • Overseeing Quality Audit process and ensure consistent adherence to disciplinary guidelines

  • Working a flexible schedule in order to meet Customer and Company needs, which may include extended shifts and weekend work; maintain consistent adherence to schedule

To be qualified for this position, you must possess the following:

  • Previous leadership experience; minimum of three years of relevant experience within a large warehouse operation setting

  • Strong knowledge of Warehouse processes

  • Flexibility to adjust and perform during varying levels of work demand, including being flexible with work hours. Must be able to work extended days and weekends, as needed and directed (hours must mirror those of his/her assigned shift)

  • Good communication skills; excellent attention to detail and decision making skills

  • Team oriented with good interpersonal skills; ability to consistently demonstrate initiative

  • Ability to operate a forklift and other warehouse equipment

  • Occasional lifting of up to 50 lbs. may be required
