Role: Senior Finance Analyst

About the Role: We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Finance professional to join our Global team. In this role you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our balance sheet reconciliations and overall cost management / budgetary control process. Your analytical mindset and problem-solving skills will be essential in reviewing and interrogating balance sheet performance / cost management providing insight and support to the Global team(s).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and analysis of balance sheet reconciliations to identify and resolve any discrepancies or issues.

  • Provide support to the Global teams to prepare and review purchase order requisitions for both ad-hoc spend and annual payroll vendor costs.

  • Provide support to the Global teams in the period review and monitoring annual purchase orders, ensuring compliance with internal policies and procedures.

  • Monitor and assist with the reporting of actual spending for the department, ensuring accuracy and timely submission.

  • Support in the provision of spend oversight, budget versus actual spend.

  • Assist in the preparation of period reporting / budget compliance.

  • Assist in the review and control of open commitments and purchase orders, ensuring proper documentation and adherence to budgetary guidelines.

  • Provide period reporting to the global team on commitment reporting and identify potential cost challenges / forecasting.

  • Provide support and insights to the Global teams, offering recommendations for process improvements and cost-saving opportunities.

  • Collaborate with the payroll teams and controllership to help resolve historic items.

  • Identify and recommend opportunities for automation using current and upcoming technologies i.e. AI.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years experience in accounting role.

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.

  • Strong analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.

  • Problem-solving mindset with the ability to identify and resolve issues efficiently.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial software.

  • Knowledge of balance sheet reconciliations and financial concepts.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, global environment.
