SUMMARY

This position is responsible for maintaining essential IT infrastructure, including operating systems, security tools, applications, servers, email systems, laptops, desktops, software, hardware as well as digital and voice communications.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop and Implement IT strategies aligned with the Companys business objectives
  • Develop and enforce IT policies and procedures to ensure security of the companys data and IT systems
  • Manage Company-wide Information and communications systems
  • Maintain active and current system configuration documentation; document and update, changelogs, end-user instructions, application maintenanceinstructions; followgenerally accepted Change Management Processes for revision control.
  • Ensure all informationsystemsmeetapplicablecompliancestandards,security andprivacycontrols and regulatory / legal guidance
  • Overseetheadministration ofinternal networkhealth, installingandconfiguringnetworkservers and related equipment, license management, performing preventative maintenance, firmware / software upgrades, troubleshootingproblems and protecting information systems from malware; coordinate the procurement of software solutions and web-applications.
  • Collaborate with the ELT and other business unit leaders to identifytheneeds,scope,andspecificationsforthehardwareandorsoftwaresolutions,reporting tools to support efficiency, effectiveness, and strategic goals.
  • Manage IT Projects from initiation to completion, ensuring on time delivery, within scope and within budget, ensure maintainability and scalability
  • Negotiate and manage relationships with external vendors and service providers; backup other IT team members;provide company-widecustomerservice, closing basic help-desk tickets including password resets, printer connectivity, MS Office help, etc.
  • Maintainstrictconfidentialityof information,includingintellectualproperty,andpersonneldata.
  • Completeinitial/recurrenttrainingrequirementsinatimelymanner.
  • Other duties may be assigned.
  • SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Lead,mentor andmanage the IT Team, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment
  • Manageand coordinatethe work planfor theassigned staff; set departmentalgoals;assign work activities,projects andprograms; monitorworkflow;meetwith staff toidentify andresolveproblems; review and evaluate work products, methods and procedures.
  • Beaccountablefordepartmentallabor budgets and theactivities, workflow,work schedules, attendance, and compliance with safety standards and policies for all assignedstaff.
  • Participatein candidate selection; providetraining, motivationand evaluation of assigned personnel;provideorcoordinate staff training;review work output;coachemployeestocorrect deficiencies; promote career development; initiate disciplinary and termination procedures.
