Description We are offering an opportunity for an Accounts Payable Clerk in Georgetown, Kentucky. The job function revolves around managing and maintaining accounts payable in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. This position is based in the office, with the possibility of transitioning to working remotely in the future. The employment type for this role is on a contract basis.

Responsibilities:

• Matching and batching invoices accurately and timely

• Undertaking data entry tasks and reconciling accounts payable

• Responding promptly to requests from long-standing employees

• Learning and adapting to new positions swiftly while maintaining a positive attitude

• Handling basic accounts payable functions

• Demonstrating respectfulness and good attitude towards colleagues and superiors

• Managing a fast-paced work environment effectively

• Showing drive and initiative in tasks and responsibilities

• Utilizing skills in Accounts Payable (AP) for daily tasks and responsibilities Requirements • Demonstrated proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) software and tools

• Proven experience in managing and maintaining financial records

• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations

• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet strict deadlines

• Proficiency in MS Office Suite, particularly in Excel

• Excellent communication skills with the ability to liaise with various departments

• Proven problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and resolve discrepancies

• Ability to maintain confidentiality in handling sensitive financial information

• Strong organizational skills with a high level of efficiency

• A minimum of a high school diploma; a degree in Accounting or related field is preferred.
