Job Description

We are currently seeking a Sr Windows Administrator for a contract to hire opportunity based out of the greater Lexington KY area. This Windows Administrator will be joining a growing IT team and would be expected to work a hybrid schedule. The main responsibility in this role will be oversee everything in the Windows Server environment including managing, troubleshooting, implementing enhancements, recommend upgrades, project planning, identify areas to improve the environment etc. Additionally, it will be this person's responsibility to handle/oversee Active Directory, Group Policy, and automation scripting. This is a contract to hire opportunity that would have a salary range of 100-120k annually.

Skills and Requirements

5+ yrs of Windows Server administration exp (2012/R2 through current versions)

Experience with Active Directory, Group Policy, Azure AD (Entra), Exchange Online, PowerShell scripting, etc.

Working knowledge of TCP/IP and DNS

Experience with on premise, virtual and cloud environments Bachelor's degree in IT

Microsoft certifications

Experience with any of the following: Linux, MS-SQL, SharePoint, and ISS

Knowledge of SANs, high availability, and disaster recovery techniques null
