Job Summary
We are offering an excellent career opportunity for an enthusiastic, self-motivated and experienced Field Service Technician in our Gepps Cross branch. You must be technically qualified with experience in an industrial environment, preferably worked in a similar role.
Responsibilities
Install, repair and maintain the range of compressed air, blower and vacuum equipment
Attend breakdowns and carry out technical preventative maintenance and general service work
In the event of a breakdown, test the equipment/system and carry out fault finding and repairs.
Conduct overnight field trips to service breakdowns, maintenance and customer support
Provide Customer support (internal and external) for assigned equipment
Conduct risk assessments and ensure the working environment is safe at all times
Contribute to the co-ordination, support and day to day running of the GD Service business team.
Basic Qualifications
Trade qualifications Cert III (Fitter & Turner) or experience in a similar industry, or
Qualifications and experience in the motor mechanic or electro mechanical trade
Current Driver’s licence
Travel & Work Arrangements/Requirements
Based in Gepps Cross, Adelaide, with field work across region
Regular travel required

Good mechanical aptitude
Troubleshooting and good diagnostic skills
Highly organised and resourceful under pressure.
Strong commitment to workplace safety
A “can do” attitude and a passion for true customer service focus
The ability to converse and communicate Technical and Product information to internal and external customers
Intermediate computer skills.
