Burning Man NVO Volunteer - Gerlach Office Assistant in Gerlach, Nevada
The Gerlach Office staff LOVE people and provide operational support for Nevada's NVO, BMP, and DPW. We're the first point of contact before anyone goes anywhere in Gerlach, Black Rock Station, Fly Ranch, 360, The Estates, or Black Rock Saloon. Our primary objective is to provide staff and visitors with a welcoming and supportive atmosphere. We support thousands of people yearly, always greeting them with kindness and generosity.
Date and time frame of role
Before — 30 hrs per week beginning July 28, 2024
During — daily check in 1 hour per day
After — 30 hours per week ending September 14, 2024

Must be willing to live in Gerlach, NV, for 45-60 days

Google suite
Previously attended Burning Man and familiar with its culture.

Maintain Gerlach Office Beautification Initiatives
Meeting and greeting — friendly helpful demeanor
Help staff & volunteers get their mail
Support office hospitality initiatives
Participate in activities surrounding the planning or execution of staff events, parties, gatherings, BBQs, etc.
