Job Title: Electrical Maintenance Technician

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Maintenance Technician to install, troubleshoot, adjust, and repair production equipment and electrical components. This role involves diagnosing mechanical and electrical problems and determining corrective actions, performing routine preventive maintenance to ensure optimal performance of production machines, and inspecting various machine components. You will also replace faulty parts, including electrical wires, motors, controls, and circuit boards, and dismantle equipment to remove defective parts using various tools. Additionally, you will be expected to lubricate and clean parts and equipment, operate a variety of hand and power tools, and comprehend blueprints, schematics, repair manuals, and parts catalogs. Operating production machines to understand their capabilities and assisting in various maintenance tasks as assigned are also key responsibilities.

Hard Skills

  • 5 Years of Maintenance experience

  • Working knowledge of Hydraulics, Pneumatics, Mechanics, and Electrical principles

  • Experience in Manufacturing and/or Industrial environments

Soft Skills

  • Ability to follow checklists

  • Proficiency in using hoists, cranes, hand tools, and power tools

  • Capability to review and comprehend technical documents

Job Type

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 6 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Gilroy, California.

Work Environment

This role is pivotal in maintaining and repairing equipment, tools, and machinery under the guidance of the Maintenance Supervisor or Head Mechanic.
