Responsibilities Job Summary Under the direction of the Chief Medical Officer for the Medical Group Urgent Care, this position is accountable for the direction, planning, coordinating, implementing and leading initiatives for Medical Group Physicians and Advance Practitioners. This position provides direct patient contact and evaluation related to the practice of urgent care medicine. The position is approximately 70% clinical and 30% administrative. Provide direct primary patient care in accordance with evidence-based treatment guidelines for HonorHealth patients. Deliver care in a team-centered approach; interact with patients, case team, and families to keep them informed and engaged in the decisions and direction of health care while maintaining confidentiality. Refer patients as appropriate for specialty care services, physical therapy, diagnostic imaging, and employee assistance and human resources and using HonorHealth resources whenever possible. Collaborates with Operational Senior director and CMO to support for the regional APC group Assists with implementation of operational and clinical workflow Leads onboarding training Works with Practice Admins, Clinic, managers to improve operational and clinical efficiencies Implement clinic workflow changes includes assistance with staff. Coordinates and organizes workflow changes and implementation of new tools to improve clinic throughput. Educates on billing and coding. Leads subgroups: power user/super user (informatics) policy and procedure, patient satisfaction, provider satisfaction, community outreach other groups to be created. Assist with new grad program as preceptors. Rounding Work with operations managers and practice administrators Meetings as needed for the leads. Assist with putting together provider meetings and assist with agenda guest speakers, M&M, training, Qualifications Education NP/PA with Board Certification Required Experience 5 years Urgent Care experience Required 5 years Experience working as part of a collaborative team Required Licenses and Certifications Active State Medical License Required
