About this position:

Responsible for providing direct support to the Commercial Loan Portfolio Manager and Corporate Banking Professionals with respect to portfolio management of commercial customer relationships.

Responsibilities

Assist with portfolio management activities, including but not limited to reporting requirements and covenant testing, coordinating with relationship managers in collection of financial statements, maintenance of records, and completion of periodic reviews of assigned accounts to ensure risk rating accuracy.

Act as liaison for the Commercial Loan Portfolio Manager between Corporate Banking Professionals and Credit Administration to facilitate credit needs of customers through new requests, modifications, or annual reviews/renewals. Including documenting and tracking relevant information in Loan Origination System (nCino), completing credit memo with necessary credit approvals obtained, and participating in loan closing process.

Support Corporate Banking Professionals with portfolio management activities related to credit, depository, or other banking services. Follow up with customers on past due financial statements, monitor covenant compliance, and perform ongoing credit monitoring activities.

Assist and perform related duties with special projects as requested by Commercial Loan Portfolio Manager. Including identifying/providing product solutions and ongoing service of account relationships.

Adhere to applicable compliance and operational risk controls in accordance with Company or regulatory standards and policies.

Education/Certifications:

Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field or equivalent experience required.

6 years of experience in credit and/or commercial lending required.

Skills/Knowledge:

Proficient in Microsoft office Suite: Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint; knowledge of commercial lending-related software systems a plus

Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize to meet deadlines.

Demonstrated analytical skills, sound judgment, and quality decision making ability.

Strong communication skills, both written and verbal; comfortable communicating with customers, co-workers, and management

Physical Demands:

Must be able to sit for prolonged periods of time and walk/stand for brief periods of time.

Must be able to repetitively use a telephone and computer mouse and keyboard.

Ability to lift/move up to 15 lbs.

The salary range for this position is $60,405-$75,000 annually commensurate with experience and education.

Additional compensation may be earned through the Company’s profit-sharing bonus program, subject to individual and company performance.
