The role is based in our Budapest GSS (hybrid model combining office & remote work). You’ll join a team of agile, customer-focused thinkers who collaboratively solve difficult business problems.
Main Responsibilities
Accrue FI invoices
Process Standard and Recurring Journal Entry
Close and Cut-Off Transaction Processing
Open and Close Sub-Ledgers AP / AR / GL
Process Local Tax Provisions
Process Allocations
Review Cost Centre Expenses
Review Regional Preliminary PL
Close Financial Ledger
Prepare Submission Checklist
Transfer and Reconcile GL for Consolidation
Lead by example following all requirements, processes, structure while maintaining a can-do mentality
Support the day-to-day operations of the Team while maintaining operational tasks
Support in meeting Key Performance Indicators, such as accuracy and timeliness related metrics
Proactively escalate to your supervisor and/or the Operation leader on business and performance issues
You will be working in the morning shift (6am-3pm) supporting Japan, Australia and New Zealand.
About You
Excellent English, both verbal and written
Intermediate Japanese knowledge is advantage
1-2 years of relevant experience
Knowledge of general accounting procedures and process including GAAP
Good understanding of general accounting processes
Intermediate Microsoft Office skills, with an emphasis on Excel
ERP system (SAP ECC) experience advantageous
University degree
Ability to work in a fast paced environment while maintaining accuracy and providing top notch customer service
Great communication skills and customer service is essential
Team player with a can-do-mentality
Critical thinking is a must
