Digital and Operational Excellence is a corporate unit in charge of scouting, implementing and delivering high technology and manufacturing excellence solutions. In our function we are looking for an intern that will be supporting the Lean team with the launch of new solutions in manufacturing based on advanced analytics and lean manufacturing.
The project will contribute to deliver the productivity targets of the team within IFF, reducing cost and improving capacity availability in the sites where the solution is to be piloted. This is a global project.
The new solution will enable the sites to better understand the potential opportunities within the manufacturing value chain. After that, several workstreams can be developed to improve material site logistics, yield, throughput and energy cost.
The solution (Lean product offerings) is set to deliver 1/3 of the total benefits committed by team in 2024 for both, capacity release and cost
Your tasks:
You will be trained and coached by different skilled members to develop the skills necessary to perform the following responsibilities:
Technical support to the team/s implementing the solution
Project management office support to the network of analytics engineers
Support the coordination of opportunities and the pipeline creation
Back up and participate in small initiatives derived from the program implementation
Capture feedback and Voice Of the Customer to continue improving the program in the near future

Good understading of engineering
Good communication Skills
High energy, motivation and eagerness to learn
Possitive approach and outlook
Interesed in working with multicultural teams and environment
Microsoft Packages (Word, Excel,Etc) user skills
Power BI and Poweer apps basic knowledge not essencial, interest on them preferred
Spanish / English
This internship agreement requires having studied in the University of Oviedo.
