ASM Research, An Accenture Federal Services Company Sr Systems Security Administrator in Remote,

Responsibilities:

  • Supports the design and implementation of desktop images and HW BIOS updates.

  • Provides Tier 3 support for other EPA teams on end-user HW (desktops, laptops, etc), along with Windows Server Management responsibilities.

  • Manages and deploys specialized SW and/or configurations for EPA end-users.

  • Evaluate new technologies and processes that enhance security capabilities.

  • Assists Enterprise Engineers with patching and updating EPA-approved applications.

  • Coordinates with Tier 4 vendors as needed.

  • Supports the development and publication of customer requested reports and datasets.

  • Coordinates with local stakeholders to customize activities at the local level.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or other Engineering or Technical discipline or equivalent relevant experience. Master’s Degree preferred.

  • 5+ years of related experience, additional experience may be considered in lieu of degree

  • Candidates must be US citizens due to federal contract requirements and able to pass a position of trust background

Technical Requirements:

Experience managing large data sets, and producing reports and visualizations.

▪ MECS, SCCM managing greater than 20,000 end points

▪ Use of database technologies, SQL, endpoint management

▪ Vulnerability patching, windows server administration

▪ Responsible for support and patching

▪ Team responsible for windows desktop administration

▪ Cloud experience is a plus

▪ InTune and Azure experience is a plus

▪ AWS, On-Prem experience

▪ VMWare

Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization
