Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Lead a large team in Orders and Sales Operations, processes & mechanisms for the clinical accessories and Blood Pressure Cuff segments. Coordinate and lead the growth, financial performance, NPI deployment, etc. for Product Sales Specialist’s and all distributor activities and relationships in the U.S. and Canada.

  • Partner with business leaders, strategic/Product Sales Specialist’s staff and global operations/marketing to drive operating performance, and act as a champion for strategic initiatives within the segment for U.S. and Canada growth. Lead with a Lean discipline to include KPI development, management and positive change.

  • Partner with the U.S. and Canada and Patient Care Solutions Operations teams (i.e. Deal structuring, contracting, order management, proposals, variable compensation) as well as Service, Marketing, Commercial Excellence and Global Supply Chain to improve sales team efficiency and effectiveness. Cultivate partnerships with Value Creation leaders and their teams to build consistent strategies for multi-modality projects and cross-P&L business events.

  • Drive operational excellence processes throughout the Product Sales Specialist’s, strategic, distributor and global teams to ensure contract compliance, customer satisfaction and streamlined business efficiencies.

  • Effectively lead a large team of cross-functional remote operations employees and contractors, determine clear roles & responsibilities, identify and action development needs to ensure superior business, customer support and business growth.

  • Enable collaborative culture and drive organization to improve customer/client satisfaction levels and responsiveness.

  • Develop metrics, dashboards, data portals, Power BI etc. to measure progress, build tools to make commercial teams more effective, and to make collaborative teams more efficient. Drive utilization of Sales Force and the U.S. and Canada sales process to develop forecasting tools and Operating Plan attainment strategies for commercial implementation.

  • Ensure data analytics drive decision making and Identify opportunities to improve visibility, win-rate and share performance across our P&L and U.S. and Canada.

  • Drive process simplification and best practices across Blood Pressure Cuffs, Clinical Accessories, Services, Network Design & Integration, and other Patient Care Solutions segments.

  • Support any internal and external Quality audits and closure of audit findings, Support the EHS program and the follow up (EHS contractor safety / EHS training fulfillments)

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree and 5+ years’ experience in sales operations, forecasting, financial reporting, contracting, management and or operations leadership, OR, High School Diploma/GED and minimum of ten years financial or operational work experience including developing forecasts & operating plans, leading commercial operations and contracts, and creating and leading business reviews.

  • Experience establishing strategic imperatives & initiatives in order to ensure the fulfillment of business requirements, and to optimize business performance both operationally and financial, manage all rebates, pricing, admin fees, etc. with business partners, and GPO’s for the segment.

  • Demonstrated ability to lead and influence a team within a large, complex and matrixed commercial organization.

  • Ability to influence and collaborate with senior level management teams.

  • Demonstrated written and oral communication skills, with strong coaching and mentoring experience.

  • Clear thinking / problem solving: successfully led cross-functional projects/process improvement within operations/finance function involving process improvement; able to quickly grasp new ideas.

  • Leadership experience: has five years’ experience leading team members, balancing execution through others with inclusiveness, leveraging expertise, clear thinking, imagination, and external focus.

  • Excellent communication skills: experience working across multiple levels (including executive level), functions and regions; able to clearly communicate complex financial information in a easy to understand manner; able to deliver message effectively verbally and in writing.

  • Solid PC skills: experience with financial systems/applications (i.e.: Oracle, SAP, COGNOS, Business Objects, etc.), strong Excel skills in data compilation and aggregation (i.e. pivot tables, VLookup, and Macros).

  • Adaptable/flexible: being open to change (positive or negative) in response to new information, different or unexpected circumstances, and/or to work in ambiguous situations.

  • Integrity: Accepting and adhering to high moral, ethical, and personal values in decisions, communications, actions, and when dealing with others.

  • Trained and/or certified in process improvement methodology such as LEAN or Six Sigma.

For U.S. based positions only, the pay range for this position is $106,080.00-$159,120.00 Annual. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the pay range and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. The specific compensation offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including skills, qualifications, experience and location. In addition, this position may also be eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI).
