Description
Job Summary
The Polysomnography Technologist II performs sleep studies, PAP-Level titration, split studies, and other polysomnography related procedures in an effective and efficient manner as ordered by the provider.
Minimum Qualifications
Education
Completion of an accredited polysomnography program. High school diploma required.
Licensure/
Certification
Must be a Registered Polysomnographer and/or respiratory care practitioner.
Experience
One year or more experience in polysomnography preferred.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
· Ability to stage and score sleep studies and discuss findings with overreading provider.
· Knowledge of the care and use of tools, equipment and machinery that apply to the position.
· Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
· Ability to read, write and communicate effectively in English.
· Proficient with MS Office and EPIC, and able to learn new software rapidly.
· Ability to stand and work on hard floors for duration of shift.
