McLaren Health Care Onboarding Specialist - REMOTE - MICHIGAN - McLaren Careers in Grand Blanc, Michigan

This is a fully remote, part time position with the requirement to report to the McLaren Corporate office (Grand Blanc) if needed. Only Michigan residents will be considered for this role. The scheduled hours are 4 hour shifts that are flexible and must fall within the hours of 8 am to 5 pm.

The Recruitment (Onboarding) Specialists are responsible for assisting with recruitment and hiring activities to deliver high caliber talent to the organization. Recruitment Specialists will manage the onboarding process for all new hires, providing a high touch candidate experience from offer acceptance until their first day of work. Specialists are also responsible for collecting new hire documentation.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

  1. The Recruitment Specialist will be responsible for managing the internal process for Union vacancies.

  2. The Recruitment Specialist will support the Recruiter in the internal recruitment process for non-union vacancies. This will include, but is not limited to, screening internal applicants, scheduling internal interviews, and extending and processing internal offers.

  3. Monitor the completion of the pre-employment screenings and onboarding paperwork.

  4. Coordinate the schedule for new hire check-in appointments.

  5. Collect documents required for employment and creates the new employee file to meet all requirements of accrediting bodies.

Required:

  • Associates and two years’ related experience or bachelor’s degree required.

Preferred:

  • Two years Recruitment Experience

  • Two years customer service experience

  • Experience with Taleo Recruitment System
