The opportunity

Delaware North Parks and Resorts is hiring a full-time Market Deli Cashier to join our team at Grand Canyon National Park in Grand Canyon, Arizona. As a Market Deli Cashier, you will accurately ring up merchandise and products in an efficient manner.

What will you do?

• Greet guests and provide details on items for sale while using suggestive selling techniques.

• Serve food and beverage items in correct proportions.

• Collect cash, provide change and process POS transactions, maintain and balance bank.

• Clean equipment and continuously maintain appearance of the work area.

• Perform other duties as assigned.

More about you

• Must enjoy working with people in a food environment.

• Ability to provide excellent guest service with friendly and effective communication skills.

• Should have good basic math skills to accurately account for cash and inventory.

• Will work individually and as a team in a fast-paced environment.

• No experience or diploma required

Physical requirements

• Ability to lift and carry a minimum of 50 pounds.

• Ability to stand for the entire length of shift with frequent bending, walking, reaching and grasping objects.

• Exposure to and use of chemicals to clean areas, surfaces and equipment.
