Description:

The Room Service Clerk serves patients relative to all food service needs. Takes room service orders, checks diet selections, updating Health Touch Software and communicating production needs to other department staff and assists in other food production tasks as designated.

Status: 40 hours per pay period

Shift: Primarily 1st shift

  • 7am to 3:30pm, 10:30am to 7pm, 7am to 7pm

  • Possible 3 of 4 weekends

  • Rotating holidays

What you will need:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.

  • Competency in communication skills, mathematics and computers.

  • Above average attention to personal hygiene.

  • Minimum of three to five years of food service experience.

  • Must take ServSafe Certification class within 1 year.

What you will do:

  • Make Room Service introductory calls to all new admits and record on log sheet.

  • Understand and follow all physical and food safety policies and procedures.

  • Take independent action to perform work tasks and be proactive to complete work responsibilities.
