In this pivotal role, you will have the chance to first begin by working your way from a factory laborer into being able to operate state-of-the-art Gribetz Quilting machines, which are at the heart of the mattress production process.
You will receive comprehensive hands-on training from our seasoned experts, including one of our most experienced operators who is nearing retirement. This is an incredible opportunity to learn from the best and develop specialized skills in a high-tech manufacturing environment.
What You Will Be Doing:
- Working with other team members to first learn the mattress factory floor operations
- Operating our cutting-edge Gribetz Quilting machines to produce top-quality mattresses
- Collaborating with our close-knit team in a supportive, team-oriented factory setting
- Assisting with general labor tasks such as material handling and mattress assembly
Qualifications You Will Need:
- A willingness to learn and a passion for working with your hands
- Ability to follow instructions, both written and visual
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Physical ability to lift up to 75 lbs on a regular basis
- Light computer work and ability to use a tape measure
